Orchid Giving Circle - FTC Team Grant​

Eligibility

  • Located within the North Texas region

  • Active team for 2024-2025 season with plan to continue during the 2025-2026 season

  • The grant to be distributed by reimbursement of the expenses in the next season (2025-2026)

  • Minimum of 2 female team members are of Asian heritage

Criteria

  • Actively recruits female team members of Asian heritage

  • Supports their development and success within the team environment

  • Impacts the community by encouraging more girls to join STEM programs

Orchid Giving Circle - FIRST Robotics Scholarship for High School Graduates​

Eligibility 

  • An active female team member of Asian heritage in a North Texas FIRST team

  • Participated in FIRST Robotics programs for at least 2 years

  • Graduating from high school in 2025

  • Plan to pursue a STEM major in college

Criteria

  • Leads with Expertise: guides their team in a specialized domain during the 2024-2025 robotics season 

  • Grows in Engineering: demonstrates advanced engineering skills developed through FIRST in high school

  • Inspires and Advocates: promotes FIRST robotics in community and serves as a role model for young girls in STEM

Orchid Giving Circle - FIRST Robotics Scholarship​

Eligibility 

  • An active female team member of Asian heritage in a North Texas FIRST team (FLL Challenge team or FTC team)

  • Continuing FIRST robotics for the 2025-2026 season

Criteria

  • Showcases Growth: highlights a trans-formative journey within the FIRST Robotics team

  • Develops Engineering Expertise: demonstrates specific engineering skills learned and applied

  • Advocates for FIRST: actively promotes FIRST Robotics within the community

Orchid Giving Circle - FIRST Robotics Education Scholarship​

Eligibility 

  • Girls currently in grades 1–8

  • Intend to attend STEM skills related camps or courses from March to August 2025 (FLYSET camps or others)

  • The scholarship to be distributed by reimbursement

Criteria

  • Displays a strong interest in STEM programs and skill development

  • Or presents a clear plan for joining a FIRST Robotics program after completing the intended course or camp

  • Or demonstrates the need for financial support to pursue STEM-related activities
