- Prior season FTC experience is strongly preferred
- Skillsets:
- Build Team: your primary skills fall into the mechanical building side of the robot, including:
- CAD Software: Fusion 360/OnShape/SolidWorks/Blender
- Off-the-Shelf Build Systems: GoBilda, REV, AndyMark systems and parts
- Customized Parts: Design parts for 3D Printing and CNC-cut
- Handcraft Skills: familiar with hand saw/table saw/power tools like power drills, tapping and cutting tools
- Electronics: familiar with different analog/digital/I2C sensors and wire soldering
- Software Team: your primary skills fall into the programming side of the robot, including:
- Familiar with Android Studio, Java/Kotlin
- Knowledge of version control and collaboration tools
- Troubleshooting experiences with software+hardware integration
- Strong mathematical and control algorithms backgrounds are highly encouraged
- Familiar with different types of sensors and APIs will be a plus
- Outreach Team: we don’t separately list outreach as a primary skill-set. Potential candidates should be based on building/software while developing their potential in outreach.
- Debating/Public speaking and demo skills are highly encouraged
- Experiences in public-relation, marketing, sponsorship prompting and community activity coordination are what we’re looking for
- Taste of art and industry design, engineering documentation skills will be a big plus
