Team USA for 2022 FIRST Global
After winning the 2021-2022 FIRST World Championship Inspire Award, TechnicBots 8565 was once again selected to represent Team USA at the 2022 FIRST Global Challenge, allowing the team to further cooperate with other teams from around the world, building global friendships by exchanging shared experiences and creating lasting bonds. The team also had the amazing opportunity to showcase FIRST to US Ambassador Sheba Crocker, former United States House of Representatives speaker Paul Davis Ryan, and executives from Fortune 500 companies.
Team USA for 2021 FIRST Global
TechnicBots 8565 had the honor of being selected from among all US FTC teams to represent as Team USA and compete in the 2021 FIRST Global Challenge. The team worked tirelessly for 12 weeks on their Solution Challenge, Robotics Challenge, and CubeSat Challenge. Thanks to their dedicated efforts, the team, along with their partners Team Zimbabwe, won the grand prize of the tournament: the FIRST Global Discover and Recover Award. They were the first US team in FIRST Global history to win the top award.
